UNIFY Service Management Platform (SMP)
The UNIFY SMP is a carrier-grade OSS/BSS platform for broadband service providers. Using this advanced software platform, service providers can acquire, provision, bill and manage their subscribers, services and networks.
Deployments of the UNIFY SMP can be found in DSL, Public WiFi, WiMAX, Metro Ethernet, FTTH and Satellite (VSAT) where everything from the subscriber sign-up to real-time pre-paid service billing is handled by this single platform.
For rapid network deployment, the UNIFY SMP readily interfaces with leading Service Delivery Routers (SDR), Broadband RAS (B-RAS), Subscriber Gateways, VoIP and IPTV Equipment over AAA and Web Services.

Convergent Billing (Pre & Post Pay)
Multi-service provisioning and billing. Use the UNIFY SMP to design and deliver complex, cross-bundled, service plans for virtually any broadband service. Support multiple business models like usage or volume based pre-pay, top up advance pay and of course post-pay. With a single solution consolidating AAA, LDAP policy server, service selection portal, billing, subscriber and service management, the UNIFY SMP eases new service roll-out while improving ARPU & operational efficiency.
Access and Service Management
Working with standard access routers and aggregation equipment, the UNIFY SMP enables service providers to acquire subscribers easily followed by policy based provisioning and real-time session management. For example, in Public WiFi networks, the UNIFY SMP can enable captive portals, one-time-passwords, RADIUS authentication and per session QoS. For advanced access & service control, service providers should also consider Inventum's MSC Multi-Service Controllers.
Rating and Charging
Convergent, real-time rating engine that is highly scalable and flexible. Enable complex service mixes with promotions, bundles, incremental discounts and more in a pre or post pay business model. Support charging based on time, volume or combination with differential pricing based on geography, peak, off-peak and promotional tariffs. Also supported are hierarchical billable entities with reseller discounting.
Customer Care
UNIFY SMP provides a web services API based, highly customizable customer care suite. Applications include service dashboards that can be used for self-care, trouble ticketing system, announcements, subscriber-to-provide instant messages, personalized login pages and much more. Using the API, service providers can easily integrate the UNIFY SMP to common IT systems like IVR, call center dialers, NMS, finance and inventory solutions. Virtual Operators
UNIFY SMP architecture supports virtualization for multiple operators to be hosted on the same product instance. Designed specifically for MVNO, white-label and reseller management, each virtual instance behaves as an independent UNIFY SMP. The service provider hosting the master system can exercise complete control on the functionality provided by each virtual instance. This may include service plans offered, subscriber database customizations, AAA customizations, etc.
