Authentication & Provisioning.
Authenticate subscribers using web pages, PPPoE, MAC, VLAN, IP/CIDR or any combination. Passive and Interactive schemes supported. Query policy attributes directly from LDAP or part of AAA response. Multi-service capable with seperate route tables and firewall filters for each subscriber.
Real-time Session Management.
MSC maintains identity aware session states. All sessions can be dynamically queried, scaled or terminated using web services and AAA. Use XML to customize login pages, service selection portals, and service dashboards. Real-time and in-session usage updates can be derived for pre-pay billing.
Identity Centric Virtualization
Unlike traditional routers, everything inside the MSC is contextual to the identity of a subscriber. This includes associated traffic forwarding, routing, metering, filtering & security policies. Using this approach, service providers can dynamically & effortlessly provision services as subscribers authenticate anywhere in the network.
