The National Institute of Criminology and Forensic Science (NICFS) came into existence on 4th January, 1972 to look into the applied aspects of education, training and research in the fields of Criminology and Forensic Science.
After careful evaluation, the institute has chosen Inventum’s MSG Service Gateway to authenticate and control users over their existing wired network. The MSG provides important security features including network admission control (NAC), per user firewall, content filtering, per user virtual routing, session authentication/accounting (AAA), traffic logging & much more.
Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri (LBS) Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, a deemed university under the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India has selected Inventum MSG to manage Internet users over the wired and Wi-Fi networks on the campus.

Applying per user content filtering, MSG will be used to block adult and offensive websites, ensuring better network health and bandwidth usage.
This development signifies the growing need of Service Management Gateways such as the MSG to control rouge usage & track the activities on campus networks which are frequently abused by students & campus visitors.
